Hello New Tech Parents!
Happy New Year! It is great to be back at school after three weeks off. The students and staff have returned refreshed and ready to tackle spring semester.
Due to the earthquake, we had cracks in the sheetrock throughout the school. We came back to a school from winter break where not only the damage was repaired, but most of the school had been repainted. It has been a wonderful gift to return to a school in pristine shape!
Upcoming Events:
New Tech High School Financial Aid Night: Find out about money for college and how to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Wednesday, January 14th in room 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is an event for seniors and parents. Seniors have been given a flyer with information about what they will need to bring. This is a wonderful opportunity to find out about how to pay for college.
Information Nights: If know of any families with students who will be the class of 2019 and are interested in learning about New Tech High, we will have four information nights: Thursday, January 15, Tuesday, January 20, Thursday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 28. We will begin each night at 7:00 pm.
Once again, I would like to tell you what a pleasure it has been for me to be at New Tech High. This is a great school and I am proud to be a part of it, if only for a short period of time.
