Hello Everyone,
Thank you to all of the parents who attended Parents on Campus Day, October 6th. We will have our Spring Parents on Campus Day, Wednesday, April 15th, so please mark your calendars now.
It seems that this year is flying by. The second grading period for Fall Semester is just around the corner. Although the grading period ends on October 24th, I would recommend that students have their target date as October 20th to have all work completed and turned in to their teachers. You should receive grade reports sometime during the first week in November. The last grading period will end December 12th. These grades will be semester grades, not progress report grades and will be reported on the student transcript.
As you know, New Tech High will be searching for a permanent principal. The search will begin next week and will continue until the position has been filled by the most qualified candidate. To that end, I will be reducing my days at New Tech to three a week, in an effort to remain here until the end of the school year, if need be. Thank you for your continued support.
