Hello Everyone,
It hardly seems possible that September is coming to a close. These first few weeks of school have certainly been exciting ones and have passed quickly. Students and staff are settling into routines and the first grading period will end Friday, September 19th. Progress report grades will be processed and sent home late into the following week. This would be a good time to sit down with your son or daughter and check in on Echo to see how they are doing. Mr. Keeler is completing the process of setting up Echo accounts for all parents new to New Tech High.
SAVE THE DATE: Monday, October 6th is our Fall Parents on Campus Day. Please join us from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm for the entire day or for any part of the day you are available. If your child is shy being shadowed by you, we can pair you with another student. You may choose to shadow a student any portion of the day or choose from the workshops we will have available. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit classrooms and learn about the innovative programs offered here at New Tech High. Look for the agenda in the next Parent Bulletin.
Thank you to all who have contributed to our Family Giving program this year. We are off to a great start, and are so pleased that we have so far received $25,000 from families in just a few days. Our goal to meet is $150,000 and our average request is $1,000 per family, but no amount is too large or too small. You help keep New Tech truly on the cutting edge of offering a high tech, personalized education for all students that prepares them for college and the careers of the future.
