Dear New Tech Parents,
Many of you knew Kelly Melton, parent of New Tech senior Garren Melton. It is with sadness that I report she recently passed away. Kelly was President of the Penguin Parent Club for two years, volunteered in the office, drove students to college classes, and supported us all in countless ways. We are saddened by her loss and extend our deepest condolences to her family. There will be an open service for her this Saturday, January 26th at First Christian Church on 1st Street. The service starts at 11:00 am. Following the service is a reception at New Tech HS from 12:15 until 3:00.
