The next meeting of the PPC (Thursday, April 10 at 6:30 PM) marks the beginning of the changeover of club officers. We will take nominations and hear candidates speak about their ideas for the future of the club. The club needs 4 officers: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. At this meeting we will also consider adding an additional officer, Director of Volunteers.
If you are interested in helping the school through working with other parents on activities and fundraisers, please consider being part of the PPC leadership team. No experience is necessary but an ability to work in a group and draw other parents into service of the school is very helpful.
The final result of your efforts and work with the parent club is the satisfaction of providing that extra help that enriches and benefits the New Tech experience for students and staff.
It is good to be involved and active in the life of the school because education does not just occur in the confines of a classroom during specific hours, it requires the input and action of the entire community.
Think about it! Our next meeting is the nomination meeting: Thursday, April 10 at 6:30 PM. If you can't attend and would like to run for an office, submit a short statement of intent and we will read it and enter your name at the meeting.
