Incoming ASB President Ian Weimer has asked the PPC to sponsor a Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament fundraiser.
Date: October 19 (pending venue and coordinator availability).
Needed: Event Coordinator, Players, Sponsors, Food and Beverage Donations, Event Volunteers.
So what is a Poker Tournament Fundraiser? It is a simple and profitable fundraiser that creates a realistic casino night atmosphere where attendees have tons of fun without losing real money. Attendees are even taught how to play Texas Hold 'em by professional dealers. The contracted event company supplies everything but the venue, players, food and alcoholic beverages. Not interested in actually playing poker? Then just enjoy the excitement, the atmosphere, the food, and the beverages. Dancing anyone?
