Principal's Message

Birds are chirping, wildflowers are abloom...that means California State Testing season is here! All students grades 9-11 will participate in California State Testing from April 29rd through May 10th.

• Week of April 29th~ English and Science tests
• Week of May 6th~ History and Math tests

Please help your student prepare for testing in the following ways:

• Students should strive to be to school on time. 
• Encourage students to get plenty of sleep. 
• Encourage students to do their best on the tests. 
• If possible, provide a healthy breakfast. 

New Tech wants all of its students to be successful with critical thinking skills, and to be able to represent their learning within a traditional testing modality. Students will earn scholarships to spend on academic purposes if they make improvement or score Proficient on their CSTs. Please review our "New Tech Celebrates Success" brochure (English or Spanish).

• May 24th~ Awards & Scholarship Ceremony 9:00 am. Parents invited.
• June 4th~ Last day of school (half day)

• May 30th~ Senior Check Out
• June 4th~ Senior Breakfast 9:00 am
• June 4th~ Mandatory Graduation Practice 4:00 pm
• June 4th~ Graduation 7:00 pm
