Dear New Tech Parents,
Many of you have heard that the New Tech High Internship Coordinator position that I have held for the past 8 years is being eliminated due to budget constraints. Saying "Goodbye" is difficult for me as I have loved working at New Tech with your children. I feel very fortunate to have had the wonderful opportunity to coach and mentor your children and help prepare them for their future aspirations and careers. It has been an exciting and fulfilling journey and I am grateful for the experience.
Also, please know that the Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD) is creating a new position of a district internship coordinator. The person in this role will support New Tech High students, as well as other students throughout the NVUSD, with their internship processes and requirements. Rest assured that the New Tech High staff is very committed to maintaining a vibrant internship program at New Tech High.
