Congratulations go out to Emily Mourraille who placed first in Napa's "Poetry Outloud" competition and will move on to the next round in Sacramento. Additionally, Lilly Peet placed second! There was a great turn out of parents, students and staff for this competition on Wednesday night.
I'm sure many of you heard about our "Experiment with Responsibility" last week (many students called it "The Lockdown"). I want to make sure that you understand the intention of that experiment, and that you were able to provide us with feedback (all students and staff are responding to the same survey so that we can continue to reflect and implement proactive attention to maintain our school culture). Click here to read the context and rationale that was presented to all students at an All School Meeting. Click here to take our survey.
There has been much deep discussion on our campus, and a heightened appreciation for the importance of embodying our values of Trust, Respect, Responsibility. Please encourage your student to review (again) our "Responsibility Experiment Roll-out" document, and to take our survey if they have not yet done so.
Have a safe and relaxing three-day weekend.
Sincerely, Michelle Spencer
